Good Service; Good Product
Posted by pnlt on Jun 4th 2021
Got a helpful email from company after my order as I was right on the edge of height / weight for the model I ordered. Delivery was fast and product required no tweaking or adjusting - worked of out the box. The breaks are a nice feature, but I find I don't use them as much as I thought I would. The 105mm wheels handle cracks in road well.

First pair of rollerskis...happy so far
Posted by Von on Apr 8th 2021
I have never used rollerskis before, but have XC skied for years, so I figured it was time to do some off-season training. I am a true beginner on rollers, and so while skate skiing is one thing, the same technique on rollerskis is quite another for me. I rollerski to keep my form/balance in shape, and not necessarily at high speed for fitness training (I get fitness from other activities). I have probably put about 25 miles on them so far, and the longest ski was ~6 miles. I could not be happier with them, and actually had a handle on things right away, with caution. The skis feel solidly constructed, and have the slightest of give due to the flexible fork…nice. The trails/paths I ski do have a few cracks up to about an inch across, and a few spots where the asphalt is slightly heaved. The skis handle those with no problem (you definitely feel them though). I don’t find vibration to be an issue either, although you do feel it, as you would expect. Did not purchase the brake, as my paths are flat. Go with ProLink bindings...a little more robust. With all of this said, I make these comments without having experience with another brand of ski (so my 5-star rating might be a little naive), but nonetheless, I am happy. rollerskishop.com provided great customer service throughout the purchase process, and were happy to handle a million questions.

The Best!

These skis are awesome! They are super stable, excellent on rough pavement, and feather light. They have the most "ski like" feel to them than any other roller ski I have been on. If you live in an area where the pavement is rough, they will smooth out the terrain, no need to have heavy, pneumatic wheels. The brake provides some extra confidence by allowing you to easily control your speed.

Stable and Smooth

Love these rollerskis! Great Company!I am glad I decided to get this particular model. Took them out on some of mtn roads near me and they are a game changer when you put those brakes on them. Opens up so many different courses for you to train on, whether it be flats, rolling hills, etc. Very stable. Doing nice V2 and V2 Alternate on these rollerskis was a dream. I was really surprised on how light they were and having the Prolink Pro Bindings is most certainly helpful in getting that top quality feel while on the roads or even chip-seal roads, which I tested them on as well. Well-Made, Beautiful Design in my opinion. Already have some other Colorado folks in my area interested in getting themselves a pair. Replacing the wheels later on won't break the bank either. Totally Recommend these rollerskis to anyone looking to continue their nordic skiing in the non-snow months. You won't be disappointed!

I have never roller skied before, but extremely happy with my purchase. Rollerski shop was very helpful talking with me on the phone and getting me set up with the right equipment. I love the brake feature as well. Very smooth and easy to learn on.

Smooth as butter!

These roller skis smooths out all bumps and cracks on the rough roads of Michigan with its fork flex design.
As a cross country skier, I enjoy roller skiing just as much. The roller skis are built to last and really well machined (I'm a mechanical engineer myself).
High recommend it! Skiers are made in the summer! -
Awesome on snow feel!

I love my new Pursuit Fork Flex Roller Ski's. I had another brand of ski's that i got rid of because they were not the same feeling as being on snow. What I love about my pursuit ski's is they're lower to the ground and feel similar to the feeling of my ski's on snow. They perform very well, especially with the smoothing out aspect of the fork flex feature. I'm very happy and highly recommend them to anyone considering investing in roller ski's! You won't be disappointed!

Close to the real thing

These are the closest you are going to get to the actually being on snow in the offseason.
These roller skis are durable, inexpensive, and roll like a groomed trail.
Fasterskier.com rated these #1 and I can see why.
Given the option, I would buy these again.

Lightweight, very low, durable, higher swing weight, flatter flex, and snappy feeling make these rollerskis feel more like a snow ski than any other rollerski we've tested. RollerskiShop.com and Pursuit Rollerskis launched the proprietary Fork Flex concept in fall of 2015 after testing throughout the summer. Watch this video to see how they flex. Pursuit Fork F...Lightweight, very low, durable, higher swing weight, flatter f...
Product Description
Voted #1 skate rollerski by FasterSkier.com 2016 rollerski review. http://fasterskier.com/blog/article/living-the-dream-2016-skate-rollerski-review/
Dynamic Fork Flex™ by Pursuit. Reinventing rollerski flex. Super low frame and end flex from spring steel simulates the flex of a ski better than concave flex typical of composite frames.
-
Wheel size: 100x24 mm
-
Height of top of frame unweighted: 50 mm
-
Frame thickness: 20 mm
-
Ground clearance unweighted: 30 mm
-
Smoother ride and snappy feeling with no pivot points to rattle or wear out
-
560 mm wheelbase weight: 1.610 kg/pr with size 100 mm wheels and fenders
-
620 mm wheelbase weight: 1.688 kg/pr with size 100 mm wheels and fenders
-
670 mm wheelbase weight: 1.734 kg/pr with size 100 mm wheels and fenders
-
Weight distribution more closely simulates the feel of a long snow ski
-
Flatter flex is more real than concave flex
-
Fenders standard
-
190 lb (86 kg) weight limit (Heavier skiers should by the Fork Flex Plus model).
- Shorter 560 mm is great for youth. 620 mm best for most skiers. Longer 670 mm wheelbase great for elites and people with larger than 48 feet. Optional upgrades include 105 mm wheels and Pursuit pull brake.
Note, if you have the new 2022 and newer Salomon S/Max or R10 Nocturne boots, please include a note saying this so we mount the bindings an additional cm further forward as these two boot models have a very long outsole protruding off the backside that needs more room to clear rear fender and/or brake.
