great skis!
Posted by matt T on May 8th 2025
I’ve only roller skied with my old set of v2, and these are definitely an upgrade. They roll very well on the road, and the flex feels just like skate skis. I had issues with mounting my bindings because I didn’t anticipate what it would take to mount bindings to an aluminum frame, and wound up just sending them back to have Clayton mount them. He did a great job and was very accommodating. So far I only have about five hours on these, but I’m very happy. I also purchased the brake, but need to spend more time using it before I can say if I like it or not.

By far and away the best pair of roller skis I have ever owned and I have owned and used at least 6 different types over the years from hard vinyl type tires, to smoother rubber ones and to inflatable ones. These pursuit ultra flex roller skis are superior in these following ways:
- larger diameter tires means smoother ride;
- rides over debris much more safely with less risk of falling;
- sharp turns as much easier and safer;
- brake works well with little tire wear;
- good feel on swing back from kick;
- only very basic maintenance in rotating tires as necessary;
- stays very true to direction of glide with no deviation or pull to one side.
Product Description
This is our top skate rollerski. Smoothest, most stable and safer because it has 109mm wheels and 15mm of drop in the forks. The Extra Flex is great for lighter weight skiers under 165lbs or those up to 190lbs looking for more flex compared to our original double arm forks. Our design engineer optimized the flex while reducing some weight and maintaining same strength limits.
• 109 mm solid rubber wheels and 15 mm frame drop! Smoothest and most stable yet!
• Fork Flex™ is a proprietary design utilizing spring steel forks creating a flatter ski-like flex
• Aluminum frames provide more durability than composites
• Top of frame to ground is a low 49.5 mm and clearance 29.5 mm (unweighted)
• Top of frame is 5 mm below center of axle bolt
• Total weight per pair only 1,806 grams for 625 mm wheelbase
• Swing weight simulates the feel of a long snow ski due to weight distribution
• 190 lb (86 kg) weight limit. If heavier, get the Fork Flex™ Plus model.
• Optional rear pull brake
Note, if you have the new 2022 and newer Salomon S/Max or R10 Nocturne boots, please include a note saying this so we mount the bindings an additional cm further forward as these two boot models have a very long outsole protruding off the backside that needs more room to clear rear fender and/or brake.
